Senior Underground Geologist
Lead a geology team while remaining closely involved in the technical work that supports an underground gold operation.
This position sits within an established underground gold operation and will see you lead a team of Geologists, Graduate Geologists and Geological Technicians while remaining closely involved in the technical aspects of the role.
You'll oversee geological interpretation, drill planning, grade control, geological modelling, QAQC and reconciliation activities, working alongside mining and technical teams to support both production and longer-term planning requirements.
Working on an 8/6 roster FIFO from Perth, you'll work across both operational and resource development activities, contributing geological input into planning, drilling and production decisions. Along with five weeks annual leave, you'll have access to employee share programs, health and wellbeing initiatives, and a range of support services.
Key Requirements

Degree in Geology

Underground hard rock mining experience, preferably in gold

Experience leading and mentoring geologists

Geological modelling and interpretation experience

Experience with Datamine and/or Leapfrog

Understanding of QAQC and reconciliation processes

Current C class manual driver's licence.
