Plumber

MPI is seeking an experienced Plumber for an exciting opportunity to join a well-established WA gold operation. Secure a short-term contract with the potential to transition into a permanent position for the right candidate.

Reporting to the Maintenance Supervisor, you will be responsible for plumbing maintenance and repairs across site infrastructure, accommodation facilities, and operational areas while assisting the wider maintenance team when required.

What's on Offer?

• $65-$70/hr (depending on experience)
• FIFO Perth 8:6 roster | Day shift only
• Fly-in on Mondays
• Initial 3-month contract with the potential for ongoing employment
• Diverse role supporting both site facilities and the maintenance department
• Friendly team environment with strong site culture.

What We're Looking For:

• Plumbing Trade Qualification and current Plumbing Contractor Licence
• Previous experience in mining, industrial or commercial environments
• Poly welding qualification and experience
• Sound knowledge of plumbing codes, standards and safe work practices
• Current WA C-Class Manual driver's licence.

Highly Regarded:

• EWP, Forklift, Telehandler and/or Bobcat tickets
• Additional High-Risk Work Licences (Dogging, Rigging or Crane)
• Previous FIFO or remote site maintenance experience
• Current nationally recognised contractor tickets and licences.
