Geology Assistant

Looking for a family-friendly FIFO roster and plenty of variety in your day-to-day work?

We’re looking for an experienced Geology Assistant to join an established gold operation on an 8/6 roster, FIFO from Perth, for an initial six-month contract.

You’ll work as part of the site geology team, supporting a mix of production and drilling activities, including:

• Ore mark-ups, ore spotting and in-pit sampling
• RC sampling and rock chip collection
• Diamond core processing, cutting and sampling
• Sample handling and QAQC
• Sample dispatch to the assay laboratory.

It’s a great opportunity to use your existing site experience across a broad range of geology activities while enjoying a consistent roster and a short commute from Perth to site.

We’re looking for someone with previous experience in a Geology Assistant or similar role within mining or resources.

You’ll also need:

• Current manual driver’s licence
• Current forklift licence
• Previous geological sampling experience
• A strong focus on safe and accurate work.
