Backfill Operator
MPI are currently seeking a Backfill Operator to join our client’s gold mining operation in WA.
You’ll be responsible for helping the Process Technicians keeping the process plant running smoothly. Operating machinery around the plant, sampling, logging data, inspecting the circuit etc.

You’ll be responsible for helping the Process Technicians keeping the process plant running smoothly. Operating machinery around the plant, sampling, logging data, inspecting the circuit etc.
About the role:
- 8/6, 7/7 roster (Thursday to Thursday)
- $57.00 per hour (weekly pay and super on all hours)
- Immediate start
- Temp-perm opportunities.
Key responsibilities:
- Operate all processing plant equipment in a safe and efficient manner
- Identify areas requiring preventative maintenance or repairs
- Operate the IT loader, bobcat, forklift, and power tools in a safe and correct manner.
What we’re looking for:
- Minimum 1 year experience in gold processing
- Valid WA C class driver's licence
- Tickets - Working at Heights, Confined Spaces, Forklift, preferred
- Current national police clearance (issued within the last 6 months)
- Able to pass a pre-employment medical and drug and alcohol screening.
