Environmental Advisor
If you're good at what you do but ready for broader exposure, more variety, and the chance to genuinely influence environmental outcomes, this role could be the next step you're looking for.
This Environment Advisor opportunity gives you the chance to work across a wide range of environmental activities within a large-scale mining environment, helping you strengthen your technical skills while gaining valuable operational exposure. Rather than being confined to a narrow scope, you'll be involved in compliance, monitoring, reporting, stakeholder engagement and continuous improvement initiatives.
The team is collaborative, supportive and focused on developing capability. You'll work alongside experienced professionals who value practical solutions and encourage new ideas. This means you'll have the opportunity to learn from others while building your own confidence and expertise.
You'll be trusted to engage with operational teams, provide environmental guidance and contribute to projects that have a visible impact on site performance. The role offers a balance of field-based work and technical responsibilities, making it ideal for someone who enjoys variety and wants their work to have purpose.
You'll be stepping into an established operation with clear processes, a defined scope and a team that understands the value of environmental management. This tends to suit people who want to continue developing their mining career while working in an environment where their contribution is recognised and supported.
The organisation behind this role is committed to maintaining strong environmental standards while continually improving how work is performed. They're known for fostering a culture of collaboration, accountability and continuous improvement.
People who succeed in this environment enjoy working closely with operational stakeholders, solving problems and finding practical ways to achieve positive environmental outcomes. You'll be able to apply your qualifications and experience across a broad range of environmental activities while continuing to expand your technical and professional capability.
This role will suit someone with qualifications in Environmental Science, Environmental Management or a related discipline, coupled with experience in environmental monitoring, compliance or advisory positions. Strong communication skills, a growth mindset and a genuine passion for environmental management will be highly regarded.
If you're looking for a role that offers variety, development and the opportunity to make a meaningful impact, apply now and we'll be in touch.
Unfortunately, MPI are only able to consider people with appropriate and relevant experience, and who are either Australian Permanent Residents or have the necessary permits to work in Australia and whom are currently in Australia.
