Graduate Geologist

MPI have partnered exclusively with a rapidly growing exploration and mining company, discovering, and developing their gold projects and tenements in the Goldfields region of Western Australia. Supported by existing cashflow of operations and an increasing production profile, they are rapidly growing their resources and reserves through an exciting mixture of Greenfields and brownfields exploration.

We are currently seeking a Graduate Geologist to join the team. Reporting into a dynamic executive management team, with proven discoveries to their name and demonstrated development of other prominent WA gold operations.

Key responsibilities will include: 
  • Collection and logging of drill core samples. 
  • Ensure drilling programs are conducted to the company standard and follow QAQC protocols. 
  • Assist the geology team with sampling and rig work as required.  
  • Provide support with other site activities as required.
To be successful, you must have: 
  • Tertiary qualifications in Geology. 
  • Previous experience working with gold. 
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and a team player. 
  • C Class manual WA driver’s license. 
  • Able to pass a medical and drug/alcohol screen.
​​​​​​​The role offers an opportunity for a Graduate Geologist to gain mentorship from experienced exploration geologists and industry leaders, whilst working across a variety of deposits with different mineralization styles and targets from Greenfields stage through to brownfields.
